Moving to another country credit rating?

If a person were to move to another country from the U.S., would they have to rebuild their credit history in their new place? Also, how would one go about doing so?

Yes. Each country has it's own types of credit reporting.. It will depend on the particular country you are talking about and whether or not it is 3rd world country or free trade country..
