I did the same thing, after a long term relationship ended. I moved cities, went to school, got a new job and just lived MY life. Best decision ever. Now I travel all the time, I do what I want and I only take care of myself. I seem to chase relationships, but once they are on the verge of become something real I usually find some petty excuse to get out of it. I think I just like knowing that I could be in one if I wanted to, but when it comes down to it, I would not trade my independence for anything. Which is also why I believe I'm attracted to unattainable men. Luv the chase, and the result because I LOVE BEING SINGLE!!! SO my answer, nothing wrong with the single life. However I do feel that relationships are worth it because they are life experiences and you learn a lot about your self through them, even if it's just that you'd be happier on your own.

Hmm. I just came out of a 10 month relationship with a guy who really don't care about me at all. He cared about his money and alchohol...so for now, I'm alright with being single. But give it a while, I'll get lonely and miss not having someone to care about who will care about me....This is really iffy for me. Because Yes, I am happy being single...but also, no...because I never like being alone when I have so much love to give.

I'm 32 and haven't been single but for 4 months total since I was 16. I was with my ex husband for 4 yrs. An ex boyfriend for 6 yrs.(and engaged to him for 2 yrs.) And me and by husband have been together for almost 6 yrs.(married 5yrs.) So, I don't really know what it's like. I don't think I would like it for long. But I also realize there are some good things about being single too.

I was never happy being a single, it is natural to share this life with someone, it is so joyful, of course important thing in this matter is to find the right partner. Since if you do not hve the right one for you the life can turn into sorrows. One can write a book about this issue to properly express himself but hope these few lines will convey the message.

i guess i got used to it... I'm starting to forget what being with someone is like...... there are moments when being single isn't so fun... but then there are those when i feel that , for the moment, i like my life the way, it is now sooo much better... especially after a really bad date or just by watching the mess others choose to make of there life....::))..honestly, one can loose his belief in relationships that way..... but on the other hand, u never know what the future will bring, so i guess there's still hope :)))
sorry, i went off the tracks... .. what about u? what do u think about this?

Sometimes... it is a very hard situation. Sometimes you feel very alone and wish you had someone to hold and have fun with, and then there's times you just want to be alone with you friends and celebrate being Single!!!

no matter in whatever kind of situation... there is good and bad... being a single, yu have much more freedom and can do whatever you like... when attached, your freedom is more control and you may not be able to do whatever you like... when married, you hope for kids and have more burden during marriage... when you have kids, much more burden comes... So what it is, there is good and bad.. just go along and be happy of what you are right now...
