Since HE is a being, not actually a person, maybe He looks like a cloud. Or the Sun. Just a brilliant light. Or maybe He'll look different to each of us. Maybe we'll see Him as we want Him to be. I'd like him to look like Anthony Hopkins. That would be pretty cool. Of course I'm still picturing the Renaissance painters' version of God: an imposing male figure with a flowing white beard, like an angry Santa!

God's appearance is indescribable. I suppose the best description of God’s appearance is an extremely bright light, the most intense, purest light imaginable.
Two passages that powerfully describe God’s appearance are Ezekiel 1:26-28 and Revelation 1:14-16.
Ezekiel 1:26-28, “Above the expanse over their heads was what looked like a throne of sapphire, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man. I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.”
Revelation 1:14-16, “His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.”

A young girl was sitting at the table intent on drawing a picture her mother said to her "what are you doing sweetheart" she replied "I am drawing a picture of God" her mother replied "But no one knows what God looks like"
