Ive devloped an annoying thing, swallowing differently.
I know it sounds strange, but i think its an anxiety thing, and the more i think about it the more it happens, its like im swallowing as if i have a sore throat, and theres totally nothing wrong with me or my throat. I m a bit stressed, but i just want it to stop, i need some way of telling myself, its all in my head, any assistance would be great thanks

It's just a little nervous habit you are developing....you can concentrate and re develop your swallowing habit if it really bothers you...but nothing to be concerned with...

Sometimes when I get upset. I feel like I have a lump in my throat and it feels a little sore, even though I don't think it is,but I have trouble swallowing.
There's nothing wrong with you. Unless your throat swells up so bad that you can't breath, you'll be alright!!!
I have the same problem. I have it right now actually.

years ago my throat felt like I had a lump in it when i swallowed. I went to a Dr & it was only nerves . you should have it checked out though & once a Dr confirms that it will probably get better, but make sure you go to the Dr.

the more u think of something, the more u focus on it! theres probably something wrong with ur tonsils! or u could be right, its all in your head.. next time, try to divert ur attention to something else, and then if it;s still there.. try seeing a doctor. what u got to lose if it hurts and is quite annoying..

It is a reaction to stress, I think. It sounds as if it is almost bordering on panic. Please do not let this go too far. Get to the source of the problem; though I know that is easier said than done.

Good luck to you.

Could be stress; but who knows? Only way to find out is to see a doctor about it and take it from there... and NOT from here (we're not qualified).

Go and see your doctor, to check that there is no underlying medical cause for this.

Then you can try hypnotism. Look into my eyes, not around the eys ....
