We are having a break from each other as she has to focus on college (final year) and always works late. It is a long distance thing we have. I haven't spoke to her much recently as I don't want to stress her or pressure her even more. What can I send to her in the post to show that I am thinking of her and miss her...? Thanks.

Make it personal, be old fashioned, write her a love letter, tell her what you love about her, what you miss and how much fun you are going to have when you get back together after the college stuff is out of the way.

I would make her a card, that simple says i love you and miss you, with a drawing on the front of you both, very child like i know, but girls love the personal touch, rather then money with no thought, i am 30 and i know i would melt at this x

Firstly, Collmine is deluded. Start buying her diamonds and she will probably run a mile. something delicate and pretty (like her) that means something to both of you, like something that reminds you of somewhere you have been together, or something you enjoy doing together. don't be too soppy though, just a little note saying you love her and you're thinking of her.

Simply send her a nice card which says "Missing you" and put a note inside which says something like... how you hope she's getting on OK; how you miss her laughter and hope to see her again soon.

Jewellery, expensive though - its light and easy to post - make sure you get it on recorded delivery though or it might get lost - and you dont want that. Get in touch with her friends see what she likes - or go down to see her - that will shock her lol! Also "me to you" bears are really sweet - one saying I love you or something or just a sweet one.
