I've got another great idea to get the bad ones. You've heard of CrimeStoppers Right. Well Let's have.
CopStoppers. Where anyone who sees a bad cop doing illegal acts gets a $2000 reward. This can be done totally anonymously.
Where anyone even a fellow officer can snitch out the bad cops and receive an anonymous confidential code number and when the cop is prosecuted will receive the $2000 reward.
I think that this will get rid of the Blue Shield(Help at Least) to clean up the awful image that police have nowadays.
This will help to bring back respect and dignity to the police force.
Please tell me what you think about this idea and any other recommendations.
I just want to make the world a better place. I know a lot of cops are going to get on here and say you need police, I'm just saying I want the bad ones to go to prison where they belong.
Don't you.

Why are cops so desperately afraid of being exposed for wrongdoing. I thought that police are the protectors of justice. The good guys.
You would think that police would welcome drug testing, polygraphs, and anonymous tip lines to serve the ends of justice.
What are the cops afraid of?
If they have nothing to hide they should welcome ways to clean up bad cops.

But the shield is up. You can tell from these cops answers above that they have serious issues against being exposed.
I only said an anonymous tipline to report them. It wouldn't convict them, but it would open an investigation and if the investigation proved correct the police would be prosecuted.
The good cops don't have to be worried. The good cops will be protected and rewarded but the bad ones will go to prison where they belong.
In the terrible conditions that actually exist in prison, Oh God, NO!

Are you funding this? Who will?
Sounds like a good plan, but what are the checks and balances? I've seen you make some really wild accusations about police behavior. What stops the unnecessary complaints from people like yourself? What if I get accused of something falsely, what is my recourse? Can I sue you for instance?
As for the so called "bad police officer." Well, they are just criminals who happen to be wearing the uniform. They belong in jail.

Thats great that you want all the bad cops to go to jail. But we the people want all the criminals to go to jail too. Besides if you give people $2000 for everytime a cop does something wrong don't you know whats going to happen. All the welfare abusing pieces of crap will start turning in cops for nothing. Even worse they will ask for an as whippin. They will entaganize the officers to kick there *** jsut so there buddy in the bushes can video tape it. Yeah and he will start the tape after his buddy punches a cop. Cmon man I know you think you got it bad, but maybe you should view the world from some buddy elses eyes. I've seen both sides. I watched 4 cops kick the crap outta a cowboy while he was handcuffed. I know cause they were my cuffs. But he did warrant a much needed *** whippin after sucker punching a guywhile taking a piss. Just happened to be an off duty cop with his buddies at the bar. Now i ain't saying what they did was right. I stopped it when they started in on him, but sometimes people go to far on both sides.
Oh and if you think that this would clean up a department your right. All the cops would quit cause they keep getting pulled into the media spotlight. You'd have a million people crying wolf. Saying my son is a good kid...but not saying the other side of the story...my son is a good kid he is only in one gang and does not do any drug deals on Sundays.

LOOOOOL! British Imperialism was once now not 'proper' in any way, but... ...It was the least unjust, the least oppressive, and essentially the most enlightened, for it is time, of any imperial or colonial regime. It is so helpful when chip-on-the-shoulder little racists attempt to fire up hatred for the British! Trying to make out that the Empire that put an finish to the global slave exchange was once by some means 'the dangerous guys'. Look wherever in the world. Any a part of the entire planet. Who are the most developed nations? Who are the regional leaders? The international locations which enjoyed British rule. And what do British territories do once they get independence? They decide on - select - to stay in the British Commonwealth, recognizing Her Majesty the Queen as constitutional monarch. That's targeted. No different colonial regime is as revered. The Congo is not going to put the Belgian monarch on it is cash each time quickly, is it? The survivors of the Armenian Genocide - and the Pontic Greek Genocide - & the Assyrian Genocide - aren't queuing up to join a Turkish Ottoman-Empire Commonwealth, are they? Terrible little one! P.S. I realize you're having fun with the usage of our exclusive English language. First-rate alternative. It's, in the end, essentially the most greatly used in the world. You're welcome!

The only problem with that is the dirt bags that the cops piss off for arresting them will call in an anon tip just to get them into trouble, because that's the way dirt bags work! They don't care if they have to lie about it, as long as they get even.... I know there are bad cops and they should be delt with but 2 wrongs don't make a right!

Cop stoppers, i think you have finally hit upon an excellent idea. I would encourage you to take this a step further and require all cops who are caught doing something illegal be summarily executed, that way you have your sick revenge and no one to protect you when the criminals take over.

There are alot of good cops out there too, I would see people abusing this over the fact that they got a speeding ticket when they deserved one, and decided they wanted to get them in trouble. I mean, don't get me wrong there are bad ones out there, just not as many as people think, and I think that it would get taken advantage of. I am not joking, the good cop, that was just doing his job, will get in trouble for something that he really didn't do. If you can make it work, where it wouldn't hurt the good cops on the force, than I would say go for it!

There are a lot of evil cops. The best thing to do is not ever put yourself in a situation where you have violated the law and give them a reason to pull you over or talk to you.
The copstoppers sounds like a good idea to me.
