If you have a pet tell them you have to take it to a vet. Make up any excuse you want. Be creative. An old friend just called and would like to see you. Sorry. It's bowling night with the guys. My insurance salesman is here and I can't get away. Gotta mow the lawn or shovel the walk. My brother needs help putting together his new computer. I've decided to write a book about the invading Mongols in China and it's affect on our history. I've decided to be a big brother or sister and I don't have much time. Gary Larson will be giving autographs in the next town over, I can't make it. My boss wants to have me come to a party, you know how bosses are. i promised the neighbor I'd watch the game with him, you know how much i like the Punishers. I have a horrible toothache and can not stand the sight of food. C-Span is running a marathon of congressional debate on the spending habits of octogenarians. I am expecting a very important phone call from my lawyer. The cable guy was already supposed to be here, I guess I'll have to wait for him. the best excuse is a true one. what i mean is that if u truly don't want to go to dinner with your in-laws, be honest with them. but most of all be honest with your self. if you start making up lies and excuses not to go eventually your going to get caught up in on of those" little white" lies. I learned the hard way that the truth shall set you free. and it's the truth it will you'll feel so much better that you told the truth and they will trust you more also. so its really your decision you can lie and take a chance of getting ccaught up in that lie, or you can be a honorable person and a trusting one at that and do the easy thing and tell the truth.

You've already made dinner plans with a friend who is here from out of town. She is only here for the day and is leaving that same night. (there's gotta be someone from a previous job, school etc who moved away and you have not seen in a while, preferably someone who is not friends with your sister also so that she wont be tempted to invite ALL of you over to dinner) However, after dinner you will swing by their house for the fireworks....

Hey man ..the best excuse I've used and worked was that I've had chronic diarrhoea. Say that uve had for 2 days and hasn't gone away yet so u still don't feel well and cant come to dinner cos u wanna stay home and rest.

Divorce your wife or your girlfriend, then you won't have to worry about it anymore. That's what I did to my ex-boyfriend. Now I can do whatever I want, go out with anyone I want and I don't have to put up with his whineging or whining or his pathetic family- which are all weird. You can drink all you want if you dump your wife or boyfriend, eat a whole pizza, go out whatever you want. Single is the way to be- that's my motto.

Many girls break up with their significant others, is because they need time to figure things out. Don't take it personally, if you want her back, you have to show her you can help her. If you love her then you'll let her go, that's it. Not everybody who you date in high school you end up staying with, the chances are extremely unlikely.
