Strawberry Shake
Serves 2
1 Cup Frozen Strawberries, thawed
2 Tbsp Honey
1 Cup Cold 2%Milk
1 Cup Plain Yogurt
2 Tbsp Sugar Substitute (recommended: Splenda)
2 Whole Strawberries, garnish
Instructions:
Puree the strawberries and honey in a blender or food processor. Add milk, sweetener and yogurt; blend until smooth.
Pour into glasses; garnish each with a whole strawberry

Black Forest Brownies
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Shortening/Ghee
4 Each Unsweetened Baking Chocolate Squares
4 Large Egg
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Cake Flour
3/4 Cup Fruit Preserves
Method:
Grease and dust with unsweetened cocoa a 9X13 baking pan and set aside. Preheat oven to 325.In a double boiler melt the shortening and un-sweetened chocolate together and let cool slightly. With a mixer beat the eggs and sugar until thick. Add the chocolate mixture followed by the flour and vanilla. Pour into prepared pan, Blend together the kirsch and preserves. Drop by spoonfuls over the batter (do not stir in). Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar. Cut into 24 equal pieces.
Bread Bonda
Cooking time: 20-30 Minutes
Ingredients :
Bread (plain)- 1 pack,
Potato- 2,
Carrot- 2,
Peas- 1/4 kg, Onion- 2,
Green Chillies- 4-5
Method :
1-Boil the vegetables and mash it. Fry cut onions and green chillies in 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. 2-Add the mashed vegetables and add salt. Make small balls.
3-Cut the bread slices in a triangle shape. Keep aside warm water in a bowl with little salt added to it.
4-Take each portion of the bread soak it in the salt water and gently drain the water from break by placing it in your palm.
5-Place the veg. balls in the middle and make it into a ball.
6-Deep fry this in cooking oil until it becomes golden brown.
7-Serve hot with Tomato Sauce or Ketchup / Coriander Chutney

It depends on whether you are diabetic and what kind of food you have access to. If you are diabetic you should try to combine a vegetable/fruit with a protein and a fat so my favorite pick would be an apple and a piece of cheese - it covers it all and is healthy for you and will keep your blood sugar level.
