Beer soaked nails. Strong and metallic tasting.
I'm obviously not an ale fan.

First chew into fine particles then swish between your teeth the abrasive quality is the same as what an Oral Hygienist would use. Then spit!

Re-apply another batch in the same manner without the swishing this will give the inside of your mouth a fine protective coating similar to shellac and deaden the tongue. Finally, there should be no taste as the taste buds have been dulled. You can then continue drinking unhindered into a comfortable self-medicated condition.

A little different then beer its a little thicker, more bitter, and in my opinion gross.
