Is it right to sell your own daughter for marriage on yahoo answers?
I just saw a question posted by a yahoo member on this site saying that he wanted to arrange a marriage for his Indian daughter here. I don't have anything against the culture, but why here on Yahoo answers? Especially since he was serious and specific about the race and background of his potential suitor. Please give me your thoughts.

I really don't see a problem with that idea. Arranged marriages are still common in many parts of the world. as long as the questin was asked in the proper area (i.e. this one), it's perfectly fine....I wonder if the reverse would work?...hrmmm...

I really find that technology can sometimes bring up some weird things...
Even though it may not seem right to some of us whose customs are against a certain idea... we cannot say is totally wrong if it is part of their customs..
