email me a picture, I'm pretty good at deciphering breed mixes..
Otherwise, your vet will likely be able to tell..when you take her in for a check up and vaccinations..
Bless your heart for giving her a forever home!
the mother of my little dog was dumped...pregnant..I wouldn't sell her for a million dollars! Best little dog in the world...

From all the thousands of dogs we've seen and treated, we can give you a pretty good guesstimate as to breed(s) and age.
But more importantly....
Most FEMALE dogs who are dumped are dumped for one reason: the 'owner' messed up and let her get bred before getting spayed, and knows she's now in the early stages of pregnancy. So....they dump her out to be someone else's problem, not theirs. Not always....but that's an EXTREMELY common scenario.
People also tend to dump dogs who have medical issues they just didn't want to deal with the expense of....like chronic allergies/skin problems (which you'd see)....or something more serious like heartworms (which you wouldn't be able to know without a bloodtest.)
Schedule an appt ASAP....and they'll check her over for you, and guide you appropriately. She needs: 1. Examination by the doctor, 2. heartworm test, 3. fecal test, 4. vaccinations as deemed by the veterinarian and you based on numbers 1-3. If she is indeed pregnant, she can still be spayed if she's in the first 2-3 weeks. But if you don't take her in now, then her abdomen starts to suddenly enlarge in a few weeks....it'll be too late then, and you'll end up with puppies. And if that happens without appropriate prenatal care, you'll likely have problems with both her and the pups.

Take her to the vet or humane society they will have a good guess. Or just look at some pics of dogs and see if you can figure it out. That is all you can do since she was dumped.

most vets can tell you some of your dogs background. i recently took in a stray-turns out he appears to be a purebrd king charles spaniel per the vet. it didn't really matter what he was-i just plan to love him no matter what-besides since i have a greyhound he has decided he is too.
