Yes, I have read so many stories where people learn to do it and have a pole at home just to keep fit. It is an excellent way of toning your muscles.

There are loads of fitness dvd's about at present, lots of them being pole dancing, so I would say yes it does get/keep you fit.

Yes it is supposed to keep you fit as it works all the muscles in the body of who is doing the pole dancing.
I personally know a number of pole dancers and they are probably one of the fittest group of people i know.

Oh yes. Playing at being a sex worker is a really great pass time.
You can also work out by pretending to be a terrified asylum seeker earning a pound a day. Really great for cardio!
Men can go to pretend 'take it up the ****' classes to help get that six pack they always wanted. Great fun.

you have to be fit to pole dance to hold yuor weight. but generally it is a slow dance so not really as you have to get your heart rate going to lose weight! Take up salsa!

I've heard it does. They actually offer pole dancing classes now at gyms and such. Lol...never had the chance to try it...

Well you have to be strong to hold yourself upside down and to swing around and dance like they do i would say yes you would have to be fit!
The girls who do it right are very talented i think you have to have guts to do it aswell.
