Dude, I used to do that when i was stupid and young. All I did was hold my breath and tighten all my face muscles for longer than I could stand. It was stupid and still is. When you wake up, if you do, your entire body will be tingling. I don't recommend it.

Wow! Good question. Do you require not to be harmed in the process?

Okay then, others have answered your question. Sounds like holding your breath is your best option. However, fainting is not really as interesting as you are thinking. It just feels like you are getting more and more dizzy and sick, then you wake up feeling bad.

How about some meditation instead. That's way more interesting.

I fainted down the stairs once (on accident), it's not recommended. The reason I fainted was because I had stood up to fast and I don't drink enough water, and that combo can make you dizzy (hint: stand up really fast and fun for the stairs).

Thats kind of dumb, if you faint you could hit yourself on something.

You could not eat or drink for a while, and faint from hunger or thirst, you could hold your breath forever.

There is no way to guarantee you will not be harmed while fainting. If you make yourself lose consciousness you can do damage to yourself. It may sound interesting, but please don't try it.

apply pressure to each of the arteries in the neck for like 30 secs or so and that should do the trick you might have to practice with it

OK here's the deal. IT WORKS so read this VERY carefully because you don't want to seriously harm yourself in the process. Come close to the screen now.... STOP! So NOW take a needle in your hand and then hold your thumb then pierce the needle slowly in your thumb then stand up and go round and round looking at the blood oozing out. BOOM and you'll faint.
