I consider myself an atheist, one who does not believe in the existence of god or gods, heaven or hell. It has nothing to do with spirituality or materialism. Perhaps I'm a humanist... but that's it.

I'm a lot more spiritual than materialistic. Money is only for survival to me. And I'm not interested in possessions for the sake of them. On the other hand, I AM interested in having a rich spiritual world, made up with the arts (basically music and literature) and interesting ideas.

I have come to believe that God is the consciousness of all of us together. I don't believe that there is "someone up there" looking out for us. If there is he, she, or it ,must be sleeping. Does that make me an atheist?

I look at myself as a person who cares about the human condition. Even if there was a god there's nothing to I could do for him.

Hmmm...human? Not sure. I'm just kinda'...me.

I don't really so much believe in spiritual things, but I'm not so much materialistic either...I'm not sure what label I'd have, if I had to have one.
