It depends what you mean by lose weight FAST, and if you need to keep it off, etc.

High school wrestlers and such will do lots of weird things, which longterm would not be healthy at all, but for a short-term drop to make a weightclass, or fit into a specific dress, etc....

Going 5 days with No carbs will make you go into ketosis and drop like 5-10lbs of stored water.

That Hollywood All liquid diet for 2 days.

Those are probably the safest of the super fast weight loss methods. There are many other REALLY unsafe ones. If you actually want to lose weight and keep it off, there are a bazillion different diets out there, and almost all of them will work. You will just have to find one that you can stick to.

Your body is still growing. I would tell you the obvious things.. eat right, exercise and drink lots of water... about 3/4 to a gallon of water.

Eat 5 - 6 meals a day .. with protein and good carbs the complex carbs.. not sugar or white bread.. but long grain rice. I follow the guy who does the 6 day body make-over .. he is on some show.. but, it's the only thing that has worked in years for me!!! And I find that it's easy.. once I don't get too anal on it.

He has a 6 week program.. but, I did the 6 day one and then lightened up on it.. allowing more stuff.. drinking water and walking on the treadmil.

Hey bro. I'm 23 years old and weigh 170 pounds. I've gained 30 pounds in the past 3 years. . . . The only way i know to do it, and i do this all the time, is to eat once a day, but keep fluids in you so you don't dehydrate. . . . It works for me.

all the diets in the world dont have anything on exercise and basic healthy eating. Find some kind of arobic exercise that you like and stick it out. Eat simple, healthy and fresh foods and you cant go wrong.

stop eating carbs and fats for a month or so, just eat green veggies , yellow veggies, tomatoes, low fat dairy, low fat yogurt with artificial sweeteners, some raw fruits, and chicken breast or fish, baked or broiled, do this for a month and see how you feel and if you have lost weight.
