Fun things to do while housebound on short term disabiltiy?

I am trying so hard not to over text, msn, and call people who still have lives going on, cause I could just to that all day and they are working. I need distraction.

you can get addicted to online discussion boards or games...just realize that you will eventually not have time for the people you are trying not to bother at the moment.

Do you like to read? Or write? There are many good books out there. You should not get tired of reading if you are on short term disability.

Start a Christmas letter to your family and friends. Include news of family, jokes and interesting short articles you have read. You can really get into doing this. You will be surprised how much you have to say. If you don't like the form letter idea, then start writing letters to people to include in your Christmas cards. You don't usually send cards? Well, surprise everyone and start this year.

well its never fun to be housebound,so you are going to have to talk to yourself.....Try writing a journel while you are housebound....Crosswords are fun for me.get some good movies,take this time to maybe write a few letters,or catch up on some things that you have been putting off while you were not housebound.Do you paint or draw?Watch some game shows,or the judge shows on tv.I don,t know how disabled you are but maybe you mught like to cook....Play games on the putter..I can think of a million things to keep busy...Good luck and remember this will be over soon.....
