Yes but you may need to add a little extra moisture. If the mix seems too thick, add a little unsweetened applesauce. You won't taste it and it really adds a nice moistness.

not unless the recipe says you can substitute, it will effect the amount of liquid in the batter and the mixture wont turn out right
