How can one purport to have intelligence, when he or she DENIES
his or her OWN experience?

Religion is niether BELIEF nor x years of HUMAN EXPERIENCE. Religion is FAITH, a mere SUPPORT SYSTEM in this world to facilitate the Journey of Life to HEAVEN, with Divine Enlightenment as ultimate objective.

Religion is not a gift of God. It has been aan inclination of we human beings for our ownselves. But it has become an inclination distorted or twisted to suit ones own needs or objectives. At least that is what it has become today in this world.

With all due respect to each and every religion in this world, my personal opinion is that all around, people have tried to seek advantage through their religious belief and manipulated their religion to gain mileage either for themselves or for their community at large. I am sorry to say this, but this is actually happenening all around this world in all religions.

Which religion belives in War? Which religion has gathered an understanding through it's followers that War is a solution to everything? Hatred ? Huh!

All religions were initially schools of thoughts or faiths, one could choose from to fight against personal evils or negatives rather than evils or negatives of other people or religions. One should have been free to choose any faith that he or she may have found suitable to adopt, to cleanse off the personal negatives. "Jehad" as in Islam is the perfect word for this, which actually means fighting all evils within me ... being at war within myself to clean all negative traits like hatred, jealosy e.t.c., ... and make myself a better human being. But, what people have construed out of this term in today's world is known all over this world and it is totally in contrast with it's true meaning.

There is only one true religion in this world for me, i.e., huamanity.

Every religion has teachings pointing to realizing faith of it's followers in Selfless Human Service along with spiritual enlightenment.

This will only come through becoming masters of our mind, thus channelizing the immense energies that we carry in the right direction ... Meditation is the cure for securing positive intellingence. It is a subject of mind over matter ... and meditation alone will lead us to Wisdom, i.e., the Divine Intelligence! ... that one requires to understand what is right and what is wrong.

Why can't it be both? Maybe God presented him/it/herself to people differently throughout time, using symbols and ideas in the vernacular at the time to explain something that is completely beyond the grasp of humans, so as to find the right path. As humans evolved and got smarter, God would resort to newer ways of communicating with humans... Do you teach a baby not to touch the stove the same way you teach an adolescent about sex? Just a thought... :)
