What makes you think that a god would be stupid enough to put a soul in a body that will not see life? Wouldn't that mean that the god in question is not all knowing? Can you accept that a god would allow people to abort children they do not want, and withhold a soul from that body so there would be no suffering?
Do you believe that even though a god knows the future, that god would be so cruel as to put an innocent soul in a position to be tortured and die just to make people feel bad because they chose to not bring a child into this world?

This is a subject that creates a lot of hostility from people who refuse to understand what it is you're saying.
I do not believe "God" would put a soul in a body that wouldn't see life. Yes, it would mean the God of your chosen belief would not be all knowing. Yes, I can accept that God would withhold a soul from the body so that there would be no suffering. No I don't believe that my God would be so cruel as to let an innocent soul suffer just so I could feel bad.
I know some of the others don't appreciate what you had to say. but I would like to tell you...Thank you for the question it has helped me clarify some of what I've been struggling with. Peace be with you.

I think that something or someone does not exist until they realize that they do. So no, I don't think he would put a soul there. No I don't think anything happens that is not under Gods hands, whether it is good or bad.
BUT that does not mean that abortion is right, because it is not. It is a selfish act of convenience.
The bad things are to just show us how fortunate we are and to avoid us from having those experiences. We should be thankful for all things known so that we don't have to go through them.

You're forgetting one thing. FREE WILL! He gave us free will just like He gave your mother the sense not to kill you before you were born.
If people don't want kids, I have three easy to follow suggestions. #1 Keep your legs closed #2 Use common sense in protection. #3 adoption. not rocket science. Nice trying to avoid responsibility for human life by blaming God. real mature. Everyone does that. You had a soul once the sperm united with the egg. Yep. Hard to believe but true. God does not put a soul "into" anyone. God breathed the breath of life into Adam and he "became a living soul." The Bible also refers to the life that a person has as a "soul" but it says that the soul dies when the person dies. You have obviously been taught several incorrect things which has led to your questioning God rather than the fools that taught you these lies. How unfortunate.

The question is based on your personal beliefs, and therefore, is beyond a reasonable answear, all people do not believe that there is a soul in a human body. the only thing we know for sure about life here is that it begins , and ends, we do not know if there was a soul befor the child was born or if there is one after death, or where it goes if there is one. Just live the best u can and do not worry about what your God is doing about these matters, May your God Bless you for careing about what he knows and does not know. but is best that u not worry

This is an old philosophy question.
If God is Omnipotent (all-powerful), Omniscient (all-knowing), and Beneficient (all-good)... how can bad things happen. By a philosophical stand point GOD can not be all three.
One of the philosophers I read in college supposed it was best that God not be all-powerful- by some deductive reasoning.
BUT one of the churches I watch occassionally on TV says that GOD is not "all-knowing" about everything (and quotes Bible versus to prove it). Can't tell you which ones though.

Sorry. Souls don't feel physical pain. A grieving soul is just an expression.
Women would abort whether they felt the "fetus" had a soul or not. They certainly don't think much about the child's body feeling physical pain, so why in the world would they care about its soul?
God doesn't control that, women do.

God can not be stupid and can not be wrong.God gives us a freewill and has given us a life guidance in the holy book.God puts soul and spirit in a fetus and then is going to be aborted
is not God'fault.It has 2 alternatives (1)the mother has a disease so her fetus be aborted (2)the mother murders the fetus because she does not want a baby.
The first one the mother has no fault/mistake so the fetus soul will go to heaven and he/she will welcome her mother at a resurrection day.The second one the fetus soul will go back to God and his/her mother will go to hell for murdering.

i believe in more then one life. And we are all on a journey... maybe that life was chosen because the next thing to be learned was rejection or death to balance the karma already created in that soul.
To say that God gives us one chance to figure it out and then to heaven or hell with you. that is harsh and not loving. You could be an invalid that is daily raped. Or in some 3'rd world country where the 'truth' never gets to you.
I believe in the law of inention. Not the law of heaven or hell and submission and obedience to something that everyone argues if it even exsits.
