I have one and it isn't destroying me because I chose to enjoy the moments that I see him as I lead a very busy life. I trust that he will remain in our town because I would miss him terribly. I am in need of thoughts on this hum ringer....

This sounds like "Thornbirds", and that had a rather sad ending as I recall - but you sound like you have it together so I am anticipating a happy ending - isn't that what God wants ?

Forbidden fruit always seems to have the most delightful attraction.
Acknowledge to yourself he is "forbidden fruit" but what to suggest.... haven't got a clue (being a guy what else is new).
You sound more like you lust for him rather than enjoy the fact your parish has a priest. That's not a put down just recognition you find him sexually attractive. Which by the way is none of his business and it would be really unkind and unfair of you to bring him in on your secret.

Well... uh.... sounds pretty harmless right now, but I think it would be best if you turned your attention elsewhere. You don't need to let this get the best of you can cause harm to yourself or the father. Just remember that: he is your FATHER in faith. Don't fuel something that could cause scandal, or worse, stumble someone from the Faith.

You need to find a way to overcome this temptation. If he is a Catholic priest he is married to the church and he is not open for you.Perhaps find another Church.Do not covet what is Gods.

Keep that love close and one day it might be returned, or maybe there is someone else out there for you.
This preist is special to you so, i guess you can hide that love, keep it locked away, protect it, like your protecting him.
