Apparently he is interested or he would not be taking you to the dance. Don't rush things. Nothing wrong in saying you like him but allow him to express himself when he is ready. Give him time.

Whoa...if you are going with him to homecoming, let it go and unwind the way it will. Guys get sort of nervous when a girl starts talking about their 'feelings' before they even have had a date together. You could push him away if you get too 'clutching and cloying' too soon in your relationship.

Just relax and be happy about your upcoming date. Homecoming is a very special event, not like a saturday night date, just the fact that he 'asked you for homecoming' is an indication that he thinks you are special. After all you just don't ask 'anybody' to an important date like that. It could be really awkward if he chokes up from the unexpectedness of the question and then you will both be too nervous to get to know eachother better.

What you could do, since you have already been asked out, is suggest a time to meet for a coke or something and talk about the dance to make plans. I mean that is a good opening. Then you will have a chance to sort of 'cement things' a little bit.

Sound good?

I hope you have a good time and that he shares your feelings. He's probably just a little shy too.

First of all, you need to work on your own self esteem and sense of self worth.

How do you feel about yourself? Confident? Sure? Stable?

Well, you don't come off like you do.

You have to live your life, for you, without a co-dependent attitude or need.

You are analyzing this relationship before it even has a chance to get off the ground. Life is a book written a chapter at a time.

You seem to want to skip to the end, and know if the butler did it.

If you like this guy at this point, then proceed. And continue to proceed until such time that you are no longer attracted to him or desire to go further.

But don't try to plan results, or shape the whole relationship before you get past Hello.

If you are that insecure (and no offense) you should stay away from relationships until you can honestly "WANT" one instead of "NEEDING" one.

Relax. Mature. Learn. Breathe.

Good Luck.

well are you still going to Homecoming?
guys get nervous when a girl, especially a new one, asks about their feelings. If at this early point in your budding relationship you are already talking about feelings to him you WILL drive him away. Take it a little slower. You've not even had a date yet right?

i think it is too early for you to talk about feelings with him. you might scare him away.rather i advice that you go out with him and have a great time.saying that i also mean that dont do anything that he forces you to do. i have great admiration for you , you are rethinking your date and dont want to "do it'with out knowing about him throughly. you have brains, girl!my advice is you go with your feelings. dont ask him about his feelings right now. try to figure out his feelings instead. see the signs . if he is eager to take you to bed on the first date then he is not thinking of you seriously. but if he wants to take it easy with you and you two just chat then you can be sure that he is into you. also he asked you out, so that means he likes you. donot be soo scared. be col and be collected.all the best.

Its bc of girls like you woman have bad reputations. The worst that could happen is hell never talk to you again and hes not talkin to you anyway so regardless what does it matter?

Look, do not rush into asking to quick how he feels about you, Keep flirting with him and be yourself. I hope he is taking you to the home coming. Just be yourself sweetie. If he likes you, he will eventually tell you.

Step One: Learn how to spell.

Step Two: Learn how to construct a sentence.

After you master Step One and Step Two, your issue will have resolved itself.

Hope this helps.
