When a person is on an airplane, what effects does it have on the body during take off and landing? How does it affect blood pressure and heart rate? I have 1 PVC (or is it PCV? 1 extra heartbeat) AND I have been having times when I feel like I'm going to pass out but am able to shake it off. 2 weeks ago I wasn't able to shake it off and lost consciousness for a few seconds. Should I just take a chance a chance and just fly? or should I first get a clearance from my doctor?

I think people who fly a lot get brain diseases like parkisons from lack of oxygen. eg Pope John 2 , Reagan, Arafat

So, a slight decrease in oxygen could effect your health. I'd ask your doctor. My friends dad died at an airport after his flight.

You should be fine. Flying does not mess with your heart beat, or normal bodily functions. Some people will get a headache but if you take a sinus pill about an hour before you fly, you will be fine.
