i'm planning on getting corn rolls... and i'm wondering how long it has to be to get corn rolls
i want something like ludacris or ben wallace.. well not that long maybe haha

I agree with pretty , it really depends on the person braiding it .. some people can braid an inch of hair , others need at least 3-4 inches .. I've been cornrowing for about 7 years now, so all I need is about an inch of thick hair and im good .. OoH and it also depends on how fine your hair is .. you can have real think hair which means it will probably need about 3-4 inches of hair .. if you want something like Luda , you'll need at least 4-6 inches of hair =) .. For corn rows, I think one inch is enough.

It must be long enough to grip..... at least an inch or an inch and a half (Most people can grip dat)

It really depends on how good the person that is braiding you hair is. If she or he can get a good grip on your hair it shouldn't be a problem.

about a good 2 inches, unpermed they will last longer that way.

if you want your whole head braided, i would say at least to your shoulders .... it you only want the top done, it doesn't matter how long it is.....
