i'm thinking abut the toyota matrix, mazda 3, ford focus 2 door hatch, vw golf or civic 2 door sport. Which one is best.

I have a 05 Mazda 3 an LOVE it! It is a actually really roomy for such a small car and great on gas. I highly recommend this my next car is going to be the newer mazda 3 or 6 but with more upgrades like sunroof tinted window boss 6 disc changer etc. I would go 4 the mazda Happy Car Hunting and good luck!

stay away from the ford VW are real good car they hold their resale value will run for ever so will a Honda i don't think their resale is so good i have a 2003 Jetta with a 1.8 turbo it gets 33/mpg highway as long as i keep my foot out of it also own a 98 Jetta/2.0 it gets great gas mileage also just go drive them all and pick the one you like the most everyone i know with a neon they go through front brakes fast their junk like the focus stick with an Import you will be much happier I'm sure

leave the Mazda and ford alone. the vw has the longest warranty but the honda will run the longest. then the toyota...

Honda is the best. Then, Toyota. Hondas have a high resale value. At 5-10 years old and 100,000 miles, they still sell for good money.

Stear clear of the Focus!!!! I have one and within the 1st 2 months 3 KNOWN issues, that ford refuses to recall, broke on my car. It sucks!!

If reliability and fuel economy are a prority Honda or Toyota are great.
