I work in fast food, and my customers are so stupid sometimes. Tell me some of the dumbest things your customers have asked you, or tell me about some of your expierences. For present or former fast food workers only please.

Here's some stupid from the world of Chick-fil-A...
me: "Welcome to Chick-fil-A, can I help you?"
customer: "Yes m'am (AAAAAH), I'll have a #5"
me: 8 pack or 12 pack?
customer: Yes
me: "Do you want your combo 8 pack or 12 pack"
customer: 10
me: They come in 8 pack or 12 pack
customer: Diet Coke
customer: I'll have a milkshake
me: Would you like Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, or Cookies and Cream
customer: I'll have vanilla, with some chocolate
me: That is a chocolate shake
customer: NO I want a vanilla shake with chocolate mixed in!
Customers paying with used calendars instead of money
customer: "I'll have a 12 pack McNugget combo, super-duper-sized"
customer "I want a kids meal, but I want a sandwich instead of nuggets, coleslaw instead of fries, ice cream instead of the toy, with a cherry"
customer "Do you have Budweiser"
customer "I want a hamburger"
Thats only in 3 months. And the list goes on...

I work at a fast food restaurant. I totally agree with you. We all get a bad rap, but it is really the customers that are stupid. One thing that I hate is customers asking for breakfast at 7 or 8 at night when it is clearly stated that breakfast isn't served until 11 pm. I've had customers that can't even remember what they have ordered after they have gone up to pay! I especially hate when customers add extra things at the window. They take up too much time!

I worked at a ice cream and espresso place ON the beach and I would have people asking me where the ocean was or how to get to the ocean. I am not kidding. The ocean was about 100 yards away. You could hear it. I had people ask if the ice cream was made out of milk. What was a waffle cone made out of? Yea people think up some weird questions. Some times you really wonder if they can be that stupid.

I used to work at Dairy Queen when I was a teenager. I don't know why, but one of the things that bugged me was when people would ask for McNuggets. (It's not McDonalds). We would get on that microphone by the cash register and yell out orders in Spanish and pretend the cooks couln't speak any English. And one time, I was making a blizzard and I wasn't paying attention, and it went flying everywhere. A lady was laughing at me until she realized it was all over HER!
My favorite thing to do now is, when I go through a drive thru, order everything "to go." LOL

You unquestionably could make that decision. stable client help is the main extreme factor to any corporation that deals with the generic public. we are all clientele in some factor, and function particular expectancies. We even the main undemanding client help desires are not met, we take it in my opinion. (some greater suitable than others, for sure.) the chief at Carl's Jr. could have taken care of you with an identical know and courtesy that he gave everybody else that day. rather he insulted you, leaving you feeling such as you have been someway much less of a shopper as somebody who could have spent twenty funds on your 2... Your dignity is effective.

Perhaps the extra fat in the food clogs the arteries in the brain. When I worked at Pizza Hut, I had some ask me where the salad bar was and they were sitting right next to it.

There are like seven trash cans in the dining area but everyone keeps stuffing the one closest to the door even if its overflowing and all the others are empty.

Man, that's in any job. I know sometimes you feel like you could scream at someone but you need to try and take it all in stride. Dumb people make the world go 'round, too, you know!

I used to work at Pizza S lut...I mean...Pizza Hut. On "welfare day", people would call up and order a pizza with "half sausage, half bacon and half pepperoni", and couldn't understand why I couldn't understand what they meant by that.
