I've been to the mom and pop places and barnies and I think they all taste like watered down acid. Starbucks has such a fresh, strong flavor.

I'm a fan. I tried supporting the independent places, but...they sucked.

Grande hazelnut mocha, my friend.

Sorry, but no, it isn't. It's too strong, it tastes like it's been burnt, and it upsets my stomach every time.

Edit:

IMHO, there's a big difference between strong and good. I've had good strong "jump out of the pot and slap the butter silly" coffee, and then I've had horrible, burnt-tasting, waaaaay too strong coffee.

If you like Starbucks coffee, that's great. Everybody's got their own ideas about what makes good coffee. Pardon the expression, but Starbucks just ain't my "cuppa groovy."

I can't drink coffee... I'm 20 and can't drink coffee. It causes heart attacks in my family and the younger the generation, the younger the person is when they have a heart attack. It sucks. I used to be able to, not anymore. My doctor says, "NO COFFEE FOR YOU!"
I liked anything. Coffee is coffee. Starbucks is just a place that sells coffee like anyone else. Their company just has more money.

I love Starbucks, but only for the expresso drinks, like lattes and frapps. If I want good old coffee, I head to dunkin donuts and pay like $1.25 for a large. It's the perfect temp, not too strong and just great, especially for the price.

no, no,,,,,, and did i mention,,,,no

hit a small mom and pops coffee place, that doesn't mass produce coffee from way under priced beans and under paid employees who do not know a good grind or roast to save their life. ( i have asked them, they don't even know what the best length of time for a double pull is, let alone what grind to cut at , consistant with humidity)......etc...etc.....

ask them to make a triple thai and add real vanilla, and a pinch of fresh ground nutmeg.....which is a very easy build, and very common ingredients.... and watch them look at you funny, and not know what to do.... because its "not on the menu"

thats funny.

go find yourself some REAL good coffee...... it definitely is NOT at Starbucks.

Good god, no! That is the most astoundingly over-rated dump I've ever been in. The coffe there tastes like it could have been made from commode water! Nasty nasty stuff!

Actually, puerto rican coffee is better; Bustelo. You should try it some time, it's been around for maybe 50 years or more.

No. It varies too much from place to place. And it's usually too weak, even with an extra shot. And it's WAAAAAY too overpriced.
