Be very concerned and try to do something about it.
Speak on it,or find another best friend.
I know, best friends are hard to find.
Maybe your friendship has become outdated, and
your growth has taken you in two different directions.
Try to find out why - without getting into a fight.

if they lie to you once and you found out they might have done it before and will probably do it again. Just know that unfortunately this person broke the trust with you and it will take awhile to get it back. You need to decide if it is worth it to continue the friendship not having the trust there any more.

My friend, whom I love dearly, always lied to me... but I knew her sooo well I could tell she was lieing... So I'd always CONFRONT her (pretty much put her lie in her face and ***** about it) and she'd end up telling me the truth and letting me know why she lied. So now she talks to me and lets me know how she feels about things. :) ... If this person is TRUELY your best friend... THEY shouldn't LIE about you or to you or whatever. So CONFRONT them and let them know how you feel about the "THING" that was lied about... and see what they have to say about it. Hope things work out for the best! :)

Talk to them about it and if they give a good reason y give them a second chance if its dont more than twice, end the friendship n move on. Maybe that friend was trying to protect ur feelings. Good luck with ur decision.

I would calmly talk to this person tell them that you know they are lying and it concerns you. give them an example of one of these lies, and point out that it is inconsiderate. "That is not what friends do I would not do it to you" I would also ask that this person not do it again.

3:Apply to "friend's" face.
4:Repeat as needed. Insert appropriate lines of dialogue.
5:Place want-ad for an honest person to fill newly opened position of "best friend."

That question is just too general to answer. If it was to keep a confidence. That's one thing. If it was malicious, I would be gone. You could front him on it. I hate confrontations. But your question is so vague, it's difficult.

You choose your friends, and you choose whether or not to surround yourself with particular people. If you dont trust a friend, dont choose to allow them to be very close to you...good friends dont lie
