Was digging around in there today, found a chicken that has a date of 2005
Bird still look's ok, not brown or a funky color.
I am cautious when it comes to chicken though, after getting salumonia, Ok Ok I spelled that word wrong. anyway my question is
Should I chunk big bird or dunk him in the deep fryer?

Anyway I had to go measure the thing hehehe, its a GE, 32 depth x 37 lenght
Woo-Hoo I found some more push-ups in yunder too lololol YUMMY

Trash the bird gal!

You dun wanna risk getting sick gain do ya?

Better to go out and buy another fresher meat cos it's really NOT worth saving that kinda money.

If you were to get sick, the medical bills would probably cost you more!

Frozen food is edible indefinately. The only concern is with the taste. Freezer burn and age can make foods taste "off". But it can never spoil when frozen. I would suggest cooking the chicken but not as a plain roast. I would defrost it and cut it up with a spicy sauce. I promise, you can't tell the difference.

My father froze everything he was a tight wad and bought things on sale and they lived in the freezer forever. He was always giving us kids frozen food. If they stay frozen they last until you eat them. We have eaten foods that had expired last year and they were still good. Watch out for freezer burn though.

A question in answer to your question.

Which brand of freezer do you have? Pleeeeeese let me know coz I am forever running out of space in the freezer. If its big enough to hide a bird for a year its the right one for me.

throw it out! I mean... I don't know for sure, since I have no idea about your deepfreeze, but if it's a year old, it probably is totally discusting.

Chunk.......unless you're anorexic, it will save you time from inducing your own vomit.
