Well apparentely none of you read the first part of the artical I posted, Chavez's comments were the deciding fact to go with another supplier sooner, they also did not like his anti- American comments, and when you have a democraticley elected President like Chavez, and he stops the press from critizing him in his country, that is a dictator, or on his way to being one.

I just heard this tonight. I hope it's true, if so I will make it a point to go to 7/11 whenever I have the chance! I would have boycotted them before but I now I will make sure to support them.

I artwork for 7/11 and each thing at artwork has been better considering the fact that we dropped Citgo! We have been given new gas pumps and individuals are not even complaining approximately not being waiting to apply their Citgo gas enjoying cards. gas has long gone down too and that i don't recommend as an entire. considering the fact that we get our gas someplace else now we are able to furnish better costs via fact we at the instant are not paying a midsection guy. Plus, who needs to basicly sponsor somebody that hangs out with widely used terroists?

It had nothing to do with Chavez. Citgo decided before Chavez even made that speech that they would come out with their own brand of gas. I would rather buy gas from S. America than from the Arabs.

Their contract with Citgo was up and they decided to go with another supplier. They claim it had nothing to do with Chavez, but I think it's just a cya statement.
