i have a friend who's girl has always used him for money for their first kid..and here lately she's not even been wanting him to come around...well until the other day when she thought she might be pregnant...her and my friend had sex 1 time in over a year and that was on the 9th of this month..so it was about 18 days ago...and now she's saying she got a positive preg test result and she's wanting him back in the picture..but to me that seems like way too early to get a pos. test result...so i was just wondering if this is possible or is she cheating on him?

It depends on which test she took. They have some now where you can test up to five days before your missed period. But generally it takes two weeks to have an accurate reading on a pregnancy test. So they had sex 18 days ago? Yhea she can test positive by now. The only way he's ever going to tell if she's cheating is paternity test or find out how far a long she is which means going to the doctor with her for an ultra sound.

Pulling out is not a guarntee that a little bit didn't come out before he withdrew. Pre-C*m can get you pregnant too.

No that is not to early to test. People say to take a test 5 days before a missed period but actually a test can show you are pregnant after only 10 days.
And a blood test will show if you are pregnant or not 7 days after conception.

Not too early for a positive pregnancy test. I think some of those tests advertise they can test positive 5 days before a missed period which could be about 9 days after having sex (though all depends on cycle, but based on a 28-day cycle, ovulating after 14 days).

You can theoretically get a positive pregnancy test about 14 days after having sex.

18 days is stretch but not to soon for some methods especially considering a day or two leeway in the actual timing of the test being done and when she told him. As for pulling out early the only sure fire pregnancy prevention is that old stand by drug NoAssAtAll.On the pessimistic side there are cases of false positives.

I got a positive result 6 days after I ovulated/conceived, which was 7 days before my period was due. (Had sex on the 8th, ovulated on the 12th, tested positive on the 18th) The line was very faint, but it was positive. I had bought these tests online that tell you very early though. I dont know if a test you buy in stores would tell you that quick.

I got a positive result a month after I had sex. I had taken many tests before that, and they always came up negative.

it takes at least 10-14 days delayed to have a positive result. if her period is regular and the sexual act happened n her fertile day then she might get pregnant with that guy. usually, count 14 days backward from youe expected date of your period. ex, ur expected date of ur period is 9-28-06, count 14 days backward, 9-14-06, that is her fertile days.

It is not too soon, tests can come out positive after ten days...but if they don't after ten, repeat them to be sure...
