Well...if you want to have a nasty haircut do it yourself. But, you'll have to live with it. OR you can go to a stylist and have them layer it for you. There are so many things you haven't considered in cutting your own hair. Let a professional do it ...you will be much happier with the look. Don't ruin it...it sounds pretty.

I'm BEGGING you! DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!! Cutting your own hair is risky at the best (you can end up with split ends from dull scissors, not to mention a terrible haircut) and curly hair needs special attention. I have incredibly coarse thick curly hair that goes a bit past my shoulders and until recently, I have not been able to control it all. I found a great stylist who was used to working with curly hair and that made all the difference. The best way to find a stylist is just to ask someone else with curly hair (that looks good) where they get it cut. Please, PLEASE, just have someone else cut your hair, trust me, you will be so thankful! Good luck!

extremely hassle-free. I continuously did that. Comb all your hair smartly to the front, as you could desire to bend down your head to the front first. Then decrease the sting horizontally ( until now it is going to gave the effect of choppy coated ). then you definately gets a effective layered hair.

You could go to Yahoo Search and type --how do I layer my own hair? But if you do it yourself....then you may not want to go to work tomorrow. Besides, your arms will get very tired.

You can go to Super Cuts or some other cheap hair salon and pay 12 dollars for them to do it. Don't do it yourself!

I shave it all off. It's more convenient, cleaner and no styling is ever needed.
