It isn't the end of the world. We are all good and bad. None of us are perfect. Please do not be upset with me. I could not control my anger, and I found out much later I was bipolar. For the first time in my life I felt normal when I was on lithium. I could never control my hyper or my anger. This may not be you at all. Many people do this. This just reminds me of me. I had depression at times also. This may not be you at all. I would try so hard to control my temper and I could not, even when I was young. Does your mind race, do you have trouble sleeping? This may not be like you. I would just recommend talking to someone for support. You may just have a lot of rage and anger inside about something you need to talk about. People often keep their feelings bottled up inside for so long. I don't know, please talk to someone for support. I think it's great that you are dealing with whatever is going on, you're not hiding from it. That takes a lot of courage.

well i can speak from experience i am a friendly helpful and kindhearted person but when i am mad then i am mad. i also loose control like you describe. but since i was tired of wondering the same thing i went to the doctor it seems as if i am bipolar. the same with my boys. they experienced the fits of rage also. happy one minute down the next, alot of energy then no energy, depressed maybe you should consider the medical aspect of this. if all is ok maybe try anger management and counseling. good luck.

chronic depression is best masked by out of control rages.. you see red. you break things that mean a lot to you... you feel guilty and weird and out of control.. of course substance abuse can make you do those things too, but I'm sure that substance abuse is another way of self medicating through a depression.

You hit a nerve. If it's a one time thing. If it happens all the time, you have a suppressed violent person on your hands.

behaviour like that is learned through socialisation as a child, or it can be attributed to mental illness, medication etc
