well, I would not answer the phone when he actually decides to call because if he says the first time he would call me and doesn't call at the time he says. To me that means that he is not a person of his word and it may also mean that he lies a lot. But if he has a damn good reason that is important on why he didn't call you, he better have a good reason.
My guy when he says that he is going to pick me up at 7:30pm you know what his a** does be there. My guy will be there early too at 7;00 o'clock.Because to him it is his word and that's all he has. If he cant make it he'll tell me; I would call him to make sure cause the last thing i want is to be on the bus at night by myself.
We have been together for 5 years now.

Well, if he does this a lot, then he's unreliable, isn't he? And he's taking advantage of you by making promises he can't or won't keep. Better have a talk with him and tell him not to pull this kind of stuff, or he may find himself without a girlfriend. Sometimes you have to get tough with these guys, because if they say they're going to call at a certain time, and don't, it's the same as standing you up on a date. Don't let that happen!

Forget about it and go to sleep. If he really is a great boyfriend and you want to keep on seeing him, you'll just have to accept the fact that he forgets to call when he says he will. Most men don't understand how important it is for a woman to receive calls on time, nor do they understand how much we enjoy the sound of our man's voice. It's a genetic defect, dear, and you might not be able to fix it.

What do you think about anyone who is not true to their word? This applies to him as well. I would tell him I was hurt and disappointed and ask him not to do it again. If he agrees that it is hurtful and says he will not do it again, then hold him to it. We all want someone with the respect and character to stay true to their word.
If you don't take these things seriously now, imagine if you have children with someone like this someday....they look into your innocent child's eyes and promise them things that they don't do and your little one is miserable for it. And who did this to that little guy? You did by choosing a flakey guy to make a baby with.
Always take a person's character seriously. If you make good choices based on character, then you will end up with an exceptional person. Most importantly, be a person with exceptional character.

It happened to me many times and the best way to deal with this kind of situation is telling him how disappointed I am and how I hate what he did..or sometimes if he said that he'll call at that time and hasn't..I don't answer his calls anymore until the next day..serves him right.

If he does this a lot, you should definitely ask him about it.
Tell him that trust is very important to you in your relationship because you care about him. If you don't care about him, maybe, it's not the best relationship for you to be in.
Is it worth it if it is causing you so much stress? Find someone who treats you as you deserve to be treated. Like a princess~*

Are you sure he is your boyfriend? Has this happened more than just this one time?
If my bf ever tries to pull that stunt on me, he better have a damn good explanation.

make some rules now before it gets out of hand if u trust him then ok if not make sure he respects u enough to at least call when he is going to be late good luck
