i'm in highschool and i'm quite attractive- i almost always have a bf and even if i don't i have quite a number of guys asking me out on dates. i am talkative but not loud. i get along with boys especially because i talk about things related to them as well. however, since of late, i realised that i get very upset if i see another girl who can come up to my standards- and that leads me to think that i might be an attention-seeker!! can anyone give me suggestions on how to prevent myself from becoming attention-seeker, because its not a good road to go down.
thank you in advance!

MAYBE YOUR NOT AN ATTENTION SEEKER BUT THE PERSON
YOU SEE IS AND YOUR AFRAID YOU WILL BECOME THAT PERSON. YOU SOUND MORE LIKE AFRIENDLY PERSON
WITH A GOOD SENSE OF WHATS RIGHT. HAS ANYONE
EVER SAID THAT TO YOU? PERHAPS IT WAS SAID JEAULOUSLY ? A GIRL WHO IS OUTGOING AND PRETTY
FACES THIS PROBLEM.
ALSO THE FACT THAT YOU ARE AWARE THAT IT COULD BE A PROBLEM MAKES IT MUCH LESS OFA PROBLEM AS YOU WILL NATURALY FIGHT IT.
A PRETTY GIRL WHO IS FRIENDLY WILL ATTRACT
ATTENTION WHEATHER SHE WANTS TO OR NOT.
INSTEAD OF DRESSING DOWN OR TRY TO BE SOMETHING YOUR NOT, WHY NOT USE IT POSITIVELY. INVOLV E YOUR
SELF IN CAUSES THAT MATTER TO YOU. LIKE WORLD PEACE ,WORLD HUNGER , CONSERVATION ETC. .IF YOU COULD ATTRACT ATTENTION TOWORTHWHILE CAUSE IT WOULD NOT BE ABAD THING IT WOULD BE AGOOD THING.

You're not an attention seeker - you're just threatened by the competition. It annoys you when you see other girls that have as much, or more to offer guys as you do. Well guess what? That's life babe! There's always going to be someone out there who is prettier, smarter, nicer, more talented or just plain better than you...

My suggestion to you is to stop comparing yourself to other girls and just be happy with who you are. Some people will like you and some people wont. It's not the end of the world. Just be thankful for the friends you have and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing.

I don't call that an attention seeker, I call it narcissistic and self centered. There are many people who may pass your so called standards, but in a different way. Not all guys want the most beautiful girl in town. Many want one that they feel comfortable with, one that they don't have to worry about someone stealing them away and one that isn't in competition with anything that walks or talks every waking moment. chill out and be happy that you have what you think are attributes of beauty but realize that there are others that are worth just as much if not as much as you. Maybe more, who knows........

It sounds to me which you're a common woman. maximum women get jealous of alternative ladies that is taking interest from them or competing for an identical issues. Being jealous or aggressive does not propose you're interest searching for. notwithstanding i could be incorrect in this, notwithstanding it style of looks like boys are a concentration on your existence. that truly should not be a concentration for you. it may lead you down the incorrect course. there is not something incorrect with relationship, yet your means to get a date would not make certain how effectual you're. college artwork and activities or your activity plus your loved ones could be your significant focuses and it extremely is thru those which you may fee your self.
