He's not just the man in black: he had a car made out of parts stolen one-at-a-time from the factory, and he was the first artist to use the word "psychobilly". How ahead of your time can you possibly be?
Besides, there's nothing lovelier than being drunk on a Sunday morning. That ought to make everyone happy.

Sure why not? I'm agnostic.
Are there any Christians here saying that we can unite though? Funny how you ask this question, and all the atheists are the ones that are willing to let bygones be bygones.

Christians thought he was scum till he became a thumper. I was a fan before and after. I've heard all the good and bad and still think it would have been worth every minute, good and bad, to be his friend. All the years I had a rock and roll band, Cash was the only country artist whose music we always played.

What is really cool is how many of his songs were done by other artist. He wrote so much. I don't think he wrote Ghost riders in the sky" but that has always been a favorite.

Not only Christians and Atheists love him - I as a pagan agree, he was great, and so was his wife. I saw them LIVE on stage in Hannover 1994, and I am so glad I did. Great 3 hours with John, June and John Carter (their son). I never ageed with his religion, but since he never preached, it did never bother me. Same about June.

Fer sure. And my son too likes him. We're both atheists. What he believed was his business and one of the reasons I liked him is because he loved his gospel, but never got preachy. Very cool dude.
Gee - someone here thumbs-downed nearly everyone who said they liked him, regardless of religion. How sad.
