Your talking to a lesbian here, Im not sure how old you are. But I was always afraid that I was gay when i was like 14 15. I would always look a girls a different way and I always thought It was a bad thing. Being gay is not a bad thing. In this generation of people it is almsot as common as asexuals. Some people look down on you, but for me if your with the person you love the most then who cares!!! If your having thoughts about it. Go on the internet and talk to somebody like on myspace. You will KNOW the feeling. The first time I kissed a girl it was so much better than a guy. There are alot of people that will look up to you because it is hard and you have to be strong to do it. I denied it for a long time. Now ive met the love of my life. She is the most amazing thing. Its a total different love. Its more compasionate and understanding. people are like "you cant just turn gay" well you can have thoughts about it and be afraid of what people say. But you will know as soon as you have your first expericince with a woman. I hope I helped!!

Yeah. Everyone says it must be because you ARE gay if you have something to be afraid of, but I used to tense up every time the IDEA of a homosexual thought entered my head, and try to block it. That just made it worse and worse, until I caved, thinking, "What they hell, if I'm gay, then I'm gay!"
Then I just let the homosexual thoughts flow. And a fraction of a second after letting them loose, I realized how fundamentally repulsive I find my own sex!

Well I used to worry tat I might be, then I went to a party and i got really drunk and I made out with a girl, and the next morning and I got up and I vomited everywhere when I thought about it. Now I know I am not a lesbian for sure because I view it as the nastiest thing i have ever done in my life.

No one gets up in the morning and says gee I am going to be gay. You either are or are not, and you know, so what is to be afraid of?

Don't give over to the fear. Fear is capable of making you think you are afraid of anything and everything. Instead search yourself, take a good evaluation of how you feel about yourself, you may not feel like that once you have discovered who you are as a person.
Honest, private self-evaluations are very good for helping a person to discover who they really are. And it let's fear know you are in control of you and not fear itself.
I hope this helps

Noone turns gay, you are or you aren't. Now, some people refuse to admit they are gay, but it comes out (of the closet) eventually

I don't think you can "turn" gay. Either you are or you aren't or you are bi. Most teens think about it. That is totally normal. It's what you do about it that matters in the end.
