It's admirable of you to not want to hurt her feelings, but you'd have to act like a real jerk to get her to dump you. And if she really cares a lot about you, it might not even matter how you treat her. I think you should just be honest and let her know that you care about her, but that you're just not ready to make a commitment to one person at this time. She may still get her feelings hurt, but not as much as if you told her you didn't like her. Emphasize the fact that she's a great person, and that your decision is not her fault or anything she's done. Put the blame on yourself. That's the kindest way you can let her down gently. At least her self-esteem will still be intact.

just tell her that u wanna be friends, theres no way u can dump her without hurting her feelings, but u cant continue on with a fake relationship. still be her friend though, and do it face to face NOT over the internet or txting or anything else. good luck

Be a man. Don't get her to break up with you. That always ends up bad. She'll find out anyway. Just talk to her normaly, tell her your feelings. Why things have changed, why you feel differently. BE HONEST! It will hurt. There's no getting out of that. Don't drag it out forever because you're afraid of hurting her feelings, do it quick, like a band aid.

Seriously! You are stringing this girl around, and she thinks you like her, and you're just hurting her! She's probably sick worrying about how you feel about her, and you want to try and get HER to dump you? Take your balls out of your pocket, be a man and just tell her, for God's sake!

DUMP HER! It's not fair to either of you for you to be toying with her heart. If I was in this situation I would rather have my feelings hurt, and get the oppurtunity to look for a guy that does like me, then to be in a relationship with a guy who doesn't.

If you don't like her, then why are her feelings more important to you than your own?
You could say something totally insensitive and dirty to get her to dump you, but you run the risk of her jumping your bones!

Honey, you should not stay with someone just to keep from hurting her feelings. You're not being fair to yourself, or to her. You need to just tell her. You obviously care about her because you don't want to hurt her.
