Hopefully, most of the world will be destroyed, but there will be those who survive Armageddon, and than there are those who will take part in the second resurrection. Remember, the word "world" means to people, not the planet. It is only used as a slang term in reference to the planet. In the Bible it is used to reference to those living, but not dedicating their lives to God and Christ. This includes those who claim to be Christian.

It will have gone through a drastic geologic and spiritual change, pole shifts, rising oceans. Aliens will come in huge spacecraft to take some of us off to another place. The ones left will probably die.
