For all we know those deities could enjoy jazz or classical, or any other genre. But yet it's black-metal, never black-jazz, etc. Could Norwegian church-burning heavy-metal musicians be headed for an eternity of Boney M?

I didn't realize that the Asatru liked heavy metal. I know the Norsemen loved gold and silver but plain old black metal? Can you make steel out of it? What good is it? You've got to give me more facts!!!!! .

Maybe they like country. I like joyful, worshipful music myself. That worships the true God and Jesus. That's real freedom.
