I would particularly like to know if I can do any kind of appetizer type things with them... or incorporate them into other recipes... or are they like a condiment? I have no idea!

You can spread it on bread (that's what I used to do) or for appetizer purposes, spread it on crackers or put it in a bowl and serve it with crackers like a pate or something.

Plus I like chicken paste better

Pastes like that are usually recommended for sandwiches / rolls etc but you can use them in a variety of ways. You can use them in salads - as an exotic dressing - just mix with a little bit of olive oil and vinegar and add to salad, you can use them as a spead ontop of crackers and then top with cucumber and cheese sliced thin.
The tuna and mayonnaise paste can be mixed with hot fresh boiled pasta and cracked pepper and grated cheese to make a yum, high-energy pasta.

Otherwise, try using them as dips or spread on hot, fresh grilled bruschetta and drizzled with olive oil.\

Hmm, I'm hungry now.. lol.

Serve them on crackers with chopped green onions, sliced grapes, or lemon zests. Depending on what type of paste they are, you can use them as sandwich spreads, flavoring ingredients in recipes, or -as described above- for appetizers.

I'm thinking cold pat'es or spreads for crackers? Sounds disgusting, really! Maybe you could make a tartar sauce w/ them to serve w/ seafood dishes.

spread it on toast with sliced tomatoe, use it to full celery sticks, or just eat it on bread and butter
Its one of those things we ate a lot as kids cos it was cheap, sort of an acquired taste though
