Prayer
Hopefully her first goal is to serve the Lord. If it is then she will only want a man who has the same goal. If he has anything else ahead of God, then he will also put that ahead of her. The better a man or woman serves God the better they will be able to serve their spouse. They should only proceed after they have been counseled by their minister. Too many people rush into marriage without a proper understanding of what God intended marriage to be.

She needs to pray and seek counsel from people outside the relationship, IF she has any ideas about marrying him. Marriage is not something entered into blindly: she needs to be smart about this, and make sure she isn't walking into a bad relationship!
The couple also need to be able to talk to each other, and discuss everything that could be a problem before they consider marriage: kids, household duties, the duties of each marriage partner, discipline (of kids), property rights, money management, relationships with in-laws, etc. etc. etc. These things should be discussed and agreed upon BEFORE any marriage takes place!

A good place to start would be to truly understand the roles of the Husband and Wife. I recomend starting in the book of Ephesians. Note upon whom the greater burden is placed. Do not be misunderstanding v22
