Why is it the more water I drink, the thirstier I get? Yet, if I drink something else pepsi, apple juice, capri sun, etc... it quenches my thirst.

Just a quick question...
Are you overweight, even slightly?
If you are, you might want your doctor to
test for diabetes. That is one of the
warning signs for that condition.
Is there a family history, or do you belong
to either a Hispanic or American Native
background?

That is very weird. All that other stuff has ingredients that cause you to get thirsty fast. Test it out. Pour an eight ounce glass of water and one of the other drinks you mentioned. Check the time. Drink one of them. All the way and fast. Now, note the time when you get thirsty again and then drink the other eight ounce drink. Again, note the time and check it again when you get thirsty again. How long was it compared to the first drink. Which thirsty quencher lasted longest? I bet it was the water.

Probably has something to do with your taste buds for sugar. Keep drinking the water. It is the fountain of youth and mix in a soda or two it is not going to kill you. Try substituting a energy drink instead of sodas. I like full throttle energy drink. It reminds of drinking a soda and it is sugar free. Good Luck
