1. Why is Islam so intolerant at other religious followers through Koran verses that promote anti-infidelism and war against the unbelievers?

2. If Islam is a religion of peace, then why Muslims have higher tendency to look down, hate and bomb others after reading Koran? Literatures by Aesop, Homer, etc also promote peace but their readers never bomb others after reading them.

3. Why must Islam be spread by the sword, as suggested by Prophet Mohammad? (Don't compare with other religions)

4. Why must Muslims be punished by death for converting to other religion?

5. Why must Prophet Mohammad and Muslims take up lots of wives in order to take care of their welfare instead of adopting them as sisters and daughters that can also fulfill the same purpose?

6. Why Islam denounce idol worshipping and yet Muslims have no problem praying aroung the "black stone" in Mecca?

7. Why Muslims accuse other religions including Buddhism, Taoism and Zen as inferior when they only know the tip of the iceberg (regarding their teachings)? Even if Buddhism, Taoism and Zen are not religion but are Muslims familiar with all of their teachings before criticizing them as inferior?

8. What exactly is the true meaning of Jihad? Is it of greater importance? How many Muslims are following it?

9. Why must covering up (for women) and keeping a beard (for men) be related to Islam instead of merely an Arabian historic culture, without any religious relevance?

10. Why must Muslims sacrifice innocent camels and cows to show conviction to God? Wouldn't it show greater conviction for Muslims if they sacrifice willing fellow Muslims or even their own wives and children instead? If it's to rid the animals of sin, what about other animal species and fellow sinful Muslims?

These questions are strictly ONLY for Muslims.

I am a decent guy honestly looking for decent answers to clarify everything and get rid of my ignorance. If you don't know the answers or plan to give a piece of your mind, get lost.

1. We are not intolerant. Just a few middle eastern people are that hit the news. The rest of the world doesn't hit the news. only extremists do. Muslims tolerate other faiths, especialy in the 21st century. And thats that you can't argue with it.

2. Middle eastern way of teaching is bad, they only teach one side and say the other side(s) are bad. hence you get terrorist. unlike other countries you have a better education. for in islam people are told to enlighten yourself with knowledge. which america helps us do. Muslims that are not properly educated are fed hatred in their brain, and misinturpreted readings of the quran, hence violence which is against islam.

3. Did you literaly hear the prophet say that it should be spread by the sword? who teaches you this? its spread by word. why is islam about to be the number 2 religon in america??? its already number two in the world btw.


4. Muslim converting to another religon? that just lame very few people do that. however muslims convert to atheism, now thats bad, weather you are muslim or not.

5. back in the day when your arabian ancestors had pagan faith, and had 50 wives, islam came and said no you can only have four. and you must treat them equally, fairly, and love them all the same, and they must all agree to this marriage. (do you see any 20th century educated muslim having more than one wife to finacially support themselves?

6. Idol worshipers litarally think the idol IS god. muslim pray around a brick stone to show unification, to show that muslims all over the world havea common ground and pray towards it. not to it. why do christians kneel? know ones in front of them. same perpose.

I love bhuddist teachings..and im sure Taoism and Zen are similar. who critizes them? the uneducated people... is there any muslim on yahoo answers posting questions about buddah??????? its more like many people ask and critize muslims on here. 8. Jihad has various meaning, one is the struggle to spread islam back in the 8th-9th century. which we don't need to do anymore, but people do it..hence terrorism..which is bad.
another which muslims face everyday is the inner struggle to be a good person. all your friends are having a sex party. u know its not right, so its your struggle to not do it.

Covering up is just something you do if you wish to be modest. hey the Virgin marry didn't wear a bikini, she dessed modestly, Jesus had a beard according the pictures..he didn't shave his hair off.... people who repect and honor and make role models of prophets like Abraham, Moses, Jesus..and woman like Mary, peolple like to do what they did.. because they are role models.. its pretty simple

10. we don't sacrifice what we don't eat. where do you hear this nonsense? what country are you in??? Muslims sacrifice animals we EAT. we EAT the cow... u know its meat..goood for you. we EAT lambs, cows, chickens...so we sacrifice them to eat it. a muslim has to be morally insane and messed up in the head to think sacrificing human life is good.

1. Are you sure that's the correct version of Quran ? Aren't all religion intolerate with each other? Religion is just a guideline it is up to you whether you wanna follow it. I'll give you an example, in christianity you are not suppose to insult others but you guys do it aswell, not much different from other radicals.

1. Islam is not intolerant, you see a fraction of intolerant Muslims on the TV all the time
2. Islam is a religion of peace, Quran does not teach us to kill innocent people, this is only a fraction of stupid people thinking they are doing the best

5. The verse that allows 4 wives at the same time says to provide "equal rights which you can not" so best is to stick to one woman!

In one question you have asked 10 questions. If I start writing the answers, I can tell you that lots of the things are just alegations (please note your question nuumber 7 and see that you are doing the same thing what you accuse muslims for). Islam is a very beautiful religion and is only for those who want to know the truth of existance. As Koran tells us to pray for perfect guidence and then tells us that Koran is perfect guidence.
Your questions need lots of explanations and I am sure if I write all of it, you will not even read it. But in a small sentence I would say

"The truthfulness of Islam was so obvious to all Christian and Jew scholars that they knew the fact that if they would accept Islam, they will lose their fame, and that was the prime reason, they created allegations on Islam even by pretending that they have accepted Islam and infact they did not."

In the end I would tell you the true meaning of JIHAD. The word JIHAD comes from Arabic word root JHD means "struggle". Now struggle can be done various ways. Now let me ask a question. If you live in a house with your family and there is flood, would you not struggle to save your life as well as your family's life? Or if you or your family is attacked by someone, do you not have right to defend them by any means?
Same is true for JIHAD. There is no room of attacking in case of JIHAD. JIHAD means struggle to defend yourself as well as your faith in case of an attack.
Whoever says JIHAD is a struggle to spread religion is a stupid person (even if he is Muslim). Please note that "JIHAD means struggle to defend". Islam is so strict in case of JIHAD that it does not even allow to exceed in case of struggle (e.g. if one person of a community kills hundreds of Muslims for a purpose to finish Muslims from the face of earth, Islam only allows to kill that single person only not hundreds of the persons of that same community.)

I hope the meanings of JIHAD are clear to you as well as to the SEEKERS OF TRUTH.
