It is logical. Our DNA is only 3% different from a chimp. The manatee's closest living relative is the elephant. We just found "Selam" a 3.3 million yr old skeleton of a little 3 yr old ape/human cutie pie. I love these interesting facts and correlations. Evolution is an amazing thing. The more I learn about it, the more I am sure of it.

My opinion is that it happened like the scientists say it did. I always had a problem with one thing, though. I always hated it...and thought it ridiculous...when a scientist would say something like..."...and the monkeychunk flying monkey grew an enormously long middle finger to pluck the seeds out of the purple pango fruit, which is indigenous only to it's habitat." Like if they grunted real hard and thought about it for a very long time, they could wish up a bigger finger. I don't know why they say things like that. I know that changes come about because of mutations, not because fruits have seeds that need to be plucked out.

I'm a muslim
i believe and what most muslims would probably believe is that the theory of evolution is a great theory that can probably be accepted. because it does not really contradict what islamic teachings really say.
some people will say yes it does contradict. but thats because they think evolution means "we came from monkeys," litraly.

It is currently the best available explaination. There is still many things we do not know, and may never know. Even saying that, evolution is the most intelligent, most logical, most feasible explanation we have.
