Your dog needs to have an ultrasound and a biopsy to determine it its cancer. The best approach first however is get bloodwork done. This is all expensive but it really depends on how old the dog is too. If its not bothering your dog and he or she is pretty old it would probably be best just to wait until the dog is showing discomfort.Older dogs or any year of dogs do not do well going under anesthesia. Humans are more tolerant.
I wish the best for your dog. Hey, it might just be a big ol fatty deposit.

Sounds like your pet needs to see a vet. Bruise can be from so many things. Possible the pet bumped into something too hard?

If the bruise has been there for awhile I would have it checked.
Honestly this is NOT a question you need to be asking on yahoo.
Alot of people here will answer you incorrectly and your dog's life is at stake. Please take your pooch to the vet.

Your dog could have any number of problems. It could be anything from and abcess to a tumor. The only way to find out is with a visit to your veterinarian. I suggest you go as soon as possible, since all growths are abnormal. Good Luck!

Would you get it checked by a doctor if it was on your chest or stomach? Take care of your dog. Take her to her vet!

i would go to a vet and get it checked out. My dog had a bump on her snout and they found out that it was a tumor. Thank god it was bengin but she still had to get laser surgery. It really depends on the age of your dog. My dog is really old so maybe older dogs get tumors, cancer....Bottomline take her to the vet.

Sounds like a "growth" my lab had on the rear part of her abdomen. My vet said she woul dprobably die of old age before it ever bothered her and apparently she did. It would be worth getting it checked out though.
