I want to make sure my girlfriend is not going anywhere she should be going and not going to the places I told her not to go. I know her phone has GPS on it, but I want to know how I can use a computer to monitor her location. I'm just trying to be protective like any good boyfriend should.

There is a thin line between being protective and stalking her. If you cannot trust your girlfriend when she is not around you then I think you have more serious problems than where she goes when you are not with her. Plus it sounds like you are possibly being over protective if you are telling her what she can do and where she can go.

yeah you keep telling yourself that. You need help. YOU might call it "protective like any good boyfriend", but it sounds to me like "control freak" and potential abuser... No boyfriend who is just concerned for her well being would be going behind her back checking up on her like you are trying to do. You need to seek help.

Sounds more like controlling and paranoid.

Let her have her freedoms or else she might not like you as much anymore.
