I lived on Ramen throughout college and I've tried all of the things the others have written about. But my favorite is still Ramen with Kim Chee and a bit of chopped green onion . I pretty much love everything better with some spice to it, so Kim Chee was the perfect choice. For those who may not know, Kim Chee is a fermented, VERY hot raw cabbage type salad. I believe it's Korean. Anyway, I add it to the water along with the spice packet, boil it a couple of minutes until the cabbage looks a little "glassy", remove the pot from the heat, add the noodles, stir and cover the pot with a lid. Three minutes later it's done. Garnish with the chopped green onion. Dang! Now I want some..... :)

p.s. I've seen Kim Chee spelled a couple of different ways - Kim Chi, Kim Che, Kim Chee. The spelling doesn't matter, it's all the same. There are variations on the type of cabbage that is used. I prefer the Napa variety, chopped.

I usually just boil it but I don't like too much juice in it. Sometimes I'll put melted cheese on top or mix it with vegetables. I was lucky enough to find a Top Ramen cookbook and you can even make desserts with Top Ramen but I haven't tried any of them yet.

Probably not. But hell, I believe Top Ramen will someday be a fancy stuff. Look at lobster and oyster.

We eat it in a bowl with meat and vegetables in it then topped off with hot sauce. It is great that way otherwise it is just noodles in broth. I hope that I was some help.

I cook it in a very simple manner :-
1. Soak noodles in cold water .
2. Stir fry chopped/sliced/shredded vegetables like beans, carrot, capsicum, cabbage, baby corns, cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper & spring onions .
3. Can add peas & herbs too.
4. Add seasoning . Some soy sauce& tomato sauce .Let it fry for some time .
5. Add soaked noodles with water & let it boil .
Optional garnish - Grated mozzarella cheese .
My frens like it .
