Okay, so I answer my land line phone...."Hello?" (I am registered on no-call list) I reallized it was a telemarketer when I hear silence followed by an automated voice. So I wait to see what to do next...Press 1 to talk to someone. So I did, so I could make them aware they were contacting me and I am on the list. When the guy came on I said, "I just got a phone call from the automated service, are you aware I am on the no-call list." He responds, "I swear to F'ing God if you ever F'ing call here again, I will file harrassment charges!" and hung up. I have the number and a name, but when I call the # it is automated with voice saying that they will try to contact me again. Is there a way to report this obscene jerk, or should I let it go?

This is something you should take up with the phone company and the police.

Remember that even if you have been on a no call list, if you do business with any entity, even if you fill out a contest slip, or respond to an internet ad, giving your telephone number, this allows them to call you. Re-register on the no call list, if you haven't done so in a year or so.

Also, your state may have its own no call list to add to the federal one. This gives you a little more protection by law.

I would definatly contact your phone provider and file a claim they have to pay fines if they call people on the no call list thats why the rude remarks to make it look like you called them on the recording but the phone company can prove that they called you, you should not let them get away with this as to many people will just let it go and it will never stop

Telemarketer. you might have exciting whilst one in each and every of them calls! One time, we've been given a call from a telemarketer for the duration of dinner, and it replace into from a team that saved on calling my dad. So he picked up the telephone, and laughed a very creepy snort into the telephone, and hung up. So yeah, telemarketer call.
