I have one ticket that the officer told me to plead not-guilty too. It was for being in a handicapped spot. I am such a goodie goodie, that it is almost funny that I got the ticket. It was late at night and the parking lot was empty. I needed to make a call, so I pulled into the spot without thinking. Anyway, I plead not guilty when I returned the ticket in person. I was told to wait for a letter saying when to go to court. It never came. I went back to the court to find out what to do and the woman told me not to worry about it, she hadn't put those tickets into the computer yet. It has been about 6 months and I don't want my license suspended.
I have also been witness to people who actually took care of tickets and then had their license suspended because it was not updated in the system. Is there a way to find out that the ticket was cleared from the system? I had another ticket that I took care of, and want to make sure it was noted that I did.
