i have always said guacamole like guaw/ca/mole(the little animals that digs underground) but then i have heard people say it like guaw/ca/mol/ay
which is right?

It is pronounced gwa-ka-mo-lee. The e on the end is long.

The second way is how Spanish-speaking people would say it, isn't it? Your way sounds Italian-American. According to my Webster's it's got 4 syllables.

I've always heard it the second way. But the last letter isn't really pronounced strongly.

well, I say it qwa-ka-mo-lee. But if you really want to hear the proffessionals do it, then go to your t.v. and watch the Austin Power's movie Goldmember. They have a scene and they talk all about guaca MOLEY-MOLEY-MOLEY-MOLEY!!!!!!
